Kabarak University Finalists' Wednesday Chapel Service Bids Farewell to the Class of 2024

Today marked a significant milestone as Kabarak University bid farewell to its Class of 2024, the 42s and 53s, in a heartfelt Finalists’ Chapel Service held at the Convocation Hall. This poignant occasion was filled with gratitude, anticipation, and inspiring messages as the final-year students gathered for one last time, creating an atmosphere brimming with excitement and nostalgia.

A highlight of the service was a panel discussion moderated by the acting provost,  Rev. Justus Mutuku, where six final-year students shared reflections on their academic journeys, personal growth, and future aspirations. Their candid insights resonated deeply with the audience, inspiring hope and motivation among their peers and mentors.

In his address, the Vice-Chancellor extended heartfelt congratulations to the graduating class, commending them for their dedication and resilience. He expressed confidence in their potential to create positive change in society and wished them success in their future endeavors. The Vice-Chancellor also shared news of a promising new collaboration with the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, highlighted by the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership will soon introduce new postgraduate programs, underscoring Kabarak University’s commitment to academic excellence and global reach.

The Vice-Chancellor’s inspiring message emphasized the values of integrity, respect, and faith, urging the final-year students to carry these values as ambassadors of the university. He concluded his address with a powerful message, quoting Matthew 6:33: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” This timeless wisdom served as a fitting reminder for the graduating class to prioritize their spiritual lives and trust in God’s plan as they embark on new journeys.

As the Class of 2024 steps into the next phase of their lives, they do so equipped with knowledge, values, and a sense of purpose—ready to make a meaningful impact in the world.
