An inspiring and significant event unfolded today at Kabarak University during the Final Wednesday Chapel Service of the semester, held at the Convocation Hall. The ceremony marked the official commissioning of the new Kabarak University Students’ Organization (KUSO) leadership. It was a celebration of the dedication and service of the incoming student leaders, who have accepted the crucial responsibility of offering support and guidance to their fellow students.
A highlight of the event was the address delivered by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplangat, who offered heartfelt congratulations to the new leaders. He commended their willingness to be trained and to invest their time and energy in serving the student community. His remarks acknowledged the critical role that student leaders play in building a united, supportive, and leadership-driven campus culture. The congregation was also inspired by a powerful speech from the incoming KUSO President, David Mbugua from the School of Pharmacy, who shared words of encouragement and wisdom with the incoming team.

The commissioning, held during the final chapel service of the semester, served as a strong reminder of the University’s focus on holistic student development. The new KUSO team now takes up the mantle of service, promising a term defined by commitment, collaboration, and dedicated support to the Kabarak University student body.
