Kabarak University recently embarked on a mission to empower students in Homabay County with vital career guidance. A dedicated team from our Counseling Section, courtesy of the Marketing Department, participated in a career exhibition at Mbita High School on July 19th-20th, 2024. The event, organized by Bless a Soul International, drew participation from numerous high schools across Homabay County.
The Kabarak University team, led by counselors Pr. Esther Kapsir and Ms. Veronicah Kombich, alongside Mr. Joseph Kimaring, played a pivotal role in addressing the students' thirst for knowledge. They shed light on crucial aspects of career choice through engaging panel discussions, career talks, and mentorship sessions.
Pr. Esther Kapsir and Ms. Veronica expertly guided the thousands of students in attendance, focusing on factors that influence successful career selection. This insightful guidance covered personality assessment, identifying interests and passions, navigating environmental influences, understanding emerging career trends, and exploring market growth potential.
The Kabarak University booth thrived with activity throughout the afternoons. Students and teachers alike flocked to learn more about our prestigious university and the exceptional academic programs we offer. By the end of the event, many were demonstrably enthusiastic about the prospect of pursuing their educational journeys at Kabarak University.
