Kabarak University held a spirit-filled chapel service that brought together students and staff for a vibrant time of praise, worship, and reflection. The service was especially significant as it also served as a thanksgiving ceremony for the outgoing Kabarak University Students’ Organisation (KUSO) 2024/2025 leadership team, who gathered to give thanks to God for His guidance and grace throughout their term in office.

The outgoing leaders expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to serve and for the unwavering support they received from both the student body and the university administration. Their term in office marked a season of growth, mentorship, and leadership development among students as they now prepare to hand over responsibilities to the incoming team.

The day’s sermon was delivered by Rev. Dr. Elkanah Cheboi, a lecturer in Theology and Biblical Studies and the Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Studies at Kabarak University. Preaching from John 11:17–27, under the theme “I Am the Resurrection and the Life,” Rev. Dr. Cheboi reminded the congregation of Christ’s ultimate authority over life and death, and the assurance of hope found through faith in Jesus Christ.

He encouraged the community to remain steadfast in their faith, emphasizing that true leadership and service are founded on trust in God, humility, and the understanding that all accomplishments are made possible through divine grace.

The service concluded with prayers of thanksgiving and blessings for both the outgoing and incoming student leaders.
