Today marked a significant milestone as Kabarak University bid farewell to its Class of 2024, the 42s and 53s, in a heartfelt Finalists’ Chapel Service held at the Convocation Hall. This poignant occasion was filled with gratitude, anticipation, and inspiring messages as the final-year students gathered for one last time, creating an atmosphere brimming with excitement and nostalgia.
A highlight of the service was a panel discussion moderated by the acting provost, Rev. Justus Mutuku, where six final-year students shared reflections on their academic journeys, personal growth, and future aspirations. In his address, the Vice-Chancellor extended heartfelt congratulations to the graduating class, commending them for their dedication and resilience. The Vice-Chancellor also shared news of a promising new collaboration with the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, highlighted by the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership will soon introduce new postgraduate programs, underscoring Kabarak University’s commitment to academic excellence and global reach.
The Vice-Chancellor’s inspiring message emphasized the values of integrity, respect, and faith, urging the final-year students to carry these values as ambassadors of the university. He concluded his address with a powerful message, quoting Matthew 6:33: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” This timeless wisdom served as a fitting reminder for the graduating class to prioritize their spiritual lives and trust in God’s plan as they embark on new journeys.
