Life, with all its twists and turns, often tests our patience and faith, but what if every moment had a divine purpose?  This question set the tone as the Kabarak University community gathered for a soul-stirring chapel service, where Dr. Conrad Mbewe delivered a profound sermon based on Ecclesiastes 3:1–11. His message invited everyone to pause, reflect, and recognize the intentional design behind every season of life.

Dr. Mbewe illuminated the timeless wisdom of the Scripture, which speaks of “a time for everything,”  emphasizing that God orchestrates each season according to His perfect plan. While humans often crave immediate results, God’s timing operates beyond our understanding, shaping experiences that nurture growth, character, and resilience.

Encouraging students and staff to embrace patience, faith, and trust, Dr. Mbewe reminded the congregation that moments of uncertainty, transition, or challenge are not void of purpose. Instead, they are opportunities to cultivate perseverance and obedience, key ingredients in a life aligned with God’s will.

The sermon also highlighted the significance of harmonizing personal ambitions with divine timing. Attendees were challenged to consider how trusting God’s orchestration of life can bring balance, contentment, and a deeper sense of purpose to both academic and personal journeys.
