St. Mary’s Mwenje Boys’ High School Visits Kabarak University for a Transformative Experience

On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, Kabarak University had the pleasure of hosting students and staff from St. Mary’s Mwenje Boys’ High School, a visit that proved to be both enlightening and inspiring for the young scholars.

From the moment they arrived at Kabarak University’s Main Campus, the students were welcomed with warmth and hospitality, immediately immersing themselves in the university’s serene and academically stimulating environment. Their visit commenced with an orientation session at the Bethel Auditorium, where faculty members and student representatives shared valuable insights into academic programs, career pathways, and life at Kabarak University.

The students later joined the university community for the weekly Chapel service at the Convocational Hall, an experience that not only provided spiritual nourishment but also offered them a glimpse into the institution’s commitment to holistic education. Following the service, the visitors had the opportunity to tour the various schools and departments, gaining firsthand exposure to the diverse academic opportunities available at Kabarak University.

Reflecting on the visit, Madam Joyce Mwangi, the Deputy Headteacher of St. Mary’s Mwenje Boys’ High School, expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the warm reception and exceptional hospitality extended to them. "We have been served to our greatest satisfaction. Surely, Kabarak University is the place to be," she noted, further emphasizing the positive impact of the visit on both students and staff.

Kabarak University remains committed to mentoring and empowering the next generation of scholars and leaders. By opening its doors to high school students, the institution continues to bridge the gap between secondary and higher education, inspiring young minds to aspire for excellence and equipping them with the knowledge needed to navigate their academic journeys with confidence.
