Often, people do not know what they want until it is shown to them.
Kabarak University thrives on familiarity together with the belief that people get attracted to what meets the eye which is why we open our doors to the world every day.
Earlier today, form four students of Ndaraweta Girls Secondary school in Bomet County, paid a visit to this great institution of higher learning. The visit was geared towards understanding course selection, institution selection, university life and mentorship. Being form four candidates, expected to sit for their national exam soon, their visit was timely as it helped them make choices about what they would like to venture into after their secondary school studies.
Pastor Esther Kapsir who is one of the university Counsellors, took the students through how the university runs on a day to day and what that involves. She also took them through how Kabarak university through its various programs, strives to produce career men and women with great character and education, that is based on Biblical Christian teachings.
The students who were accompanied by their teachers then proceeded on a tour around the school to have a look and feel of Kabarak University and to experience the serene environment that our students get to enjoy every day. As they toured our institution, the zeal and enthusiasm were evident on their faces and we hope this inspired them to look forward to joining us next year.
Kabarak University is humbled to have hosted the students and takes pride in mentoring and empowering high school students to make sound decisions for a better future for them and the generation to come.
