Kabarak University today hosted a delegation from the University of Embu for a benchmarking visit focused on the institution s growing ICT Digital Skills and Programming Academy, a center of excellence dedicated to empowering learners with emerging digital competencies.
The visiting team was briefed on the Academy s vision, structure, partnerships, and the range of technology programs offered.
The delegation gained insights into how Kabarak is equipping both high-school leavers and university graduates with practical, job-ready skills in fields such as Full Stack Web Development, Mobile App Development, Data Science, IoT and Robotics, Cyber Security, and several engineering-oriented tracks, including Drones Technology, Robotics & Industrial Automation, MODeL Design & PCB Fabrication, and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
ICT Digital Skills Academy is committed to addressing the digital skills gap in Kenya by preparing learners for a competitive job market where skills-based hiring is on the rise.
