The Kabarak University School of Law recently hosted the Ideal Lawyers Breakfast, a mentorship and networking forum designed to prepare first-year students for academic excellence and success in the legal profession. The event brought together students, faculty, and distinguished legal practitioners who shared valuable insights on navigating law school and building sustainable careers.

The Avid Readers Forum convened a reading and discussion session on Anthony Azekwoh’s short story “The day the devil came to Nigeria” on 25 September 2025. This session was led by Esther Blessing Nasimiyu and Victoria Okeke, two fourth year law students at Kabarak University, and attended by other participants including laws students. The session featured a collaborative reading of the story, where participants alternated in reading different sections aloud before moving into an analytical discussion.

The Katiba@15 Commemoration Conference concluded vibrantly on 27 August 2025, marking exactly 15 years since the promulgation of Kenya s 2010 Constitution. The third day featured a bi-location event, with sessions held concurrently at Sarova Panafric Hotel, Nairobi, and Kabarak Law School, bringing together diverse voices to reflect on constitutional progress.

Kabarak Law School has convened a three-day conference Katiba @15 Commemoration Conference to mark the fifteenth anniversary of Kenya s 2010 Constitution. Themed Bill of Rights: A Critical Reflection on Constitutional Transformation in Kenya, the conference offers a platform to critically examine all 40 provisions of the Bill of Rights through daily thematic discussions.
