Kabarak University proudly joined partner institutions across Kenya in the 2025 Hybrid Graduation Ceremony for the ENGAGE Project, held on 5th December 2025. The regional event was conducted simultaneously across seven universities, including Kabarak University, Meru University of Science and Technology, Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, South Eastern Kenya University, Pwani University, JOOUST, and the UCSF Nairobi Office. The event marked the celebration of the achievements of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 trainees who successfully completed the year’s program.
The ceremony brought together distinguished leaders, program facilitators, beneficiaries, and representatives from partner universities, reflecting the project’s growing national footprint and its impact on strengthening leadership, academic growth, and community-focused innovation among university students.
The representatives of beneficiaries from each partner university shared their experiences and reflections. Their testimonies demonstrated how the ENGAGE Project continues to nurture leadership, enhance research capacity, and empower students with the skills required to drive social and economic transformation.
Prof. Pamela Kimeto, Dean of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences and the ENGAGE Project Regional Coordinator, delivered the Vice Chancellor’s remarks on his behalf. In her address, she highlighted the importance of collaboration, mentorship, and the pivotal role academic institutions play in shaping the next generation of transformative leaders.
Kabarak University congratulates all the graduates and extends deep appreciation to ENGAGE program partners for their dedication to empowering young leaders across Kenya. We remain fully committed to supporting impactful collaborations that expand opportunities for our students and strengthen the university’s contribution to national development.
