On February 14, 2025, the AYLF (African Youth Leadership Forum) Kabarak University Nakuru City Campus Chapter and a dedicated group of Peer Counselors embarked on a heartwarming visit to Nakuru Hills Special School. This initiative was to celebrate Valentine's Day in a unique and impactful way, emphasizing the importance of love, compassion, and community support. The day began with the group gathering at the campus, where they prepared gifts, cards, and activities to bring joy to the Nakuru Hills Special School students.
Upon arrival at Nakuru Hills Special School, the AYLF team was warmly welcomed by the staff and pupils. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the visitors set up various activities, including games, arts and crafts, and interactive sessions designed to engage the students. One of the highlights of the visit was the delivery of words of affirmation Valentine, each crafted with excellence by the members. These adorned with heartfelt messages, served as tokens of love and encouragement, reminding the students that they are cherished members of the community.
