The Centre for Multi-Justice Systems (CMJS), is a dynamic department within Kabarak University School of Law dedicated to advancing Alternative Justice Systems. Drawing inspiration from the academic realm and driven by the visionary aims of the AJS policy and Article 159(2) (c) of the constitution, CMJS is committed to revolutionizing traditional approaches to dispute resolution. Through innovative research, education, and community engagement initiatives, CMJS strives to foster a collaborative problem-solving and conflict-resolution culture, ultimately contributing to a more just and equitable society.
Founded in June 2024, following the 3rd Annual Alternative Justice Systems Conference hosted by Kabarak University, CMJS seeks to establish itself as a hub for mediation and as a promoter of Traditional Dispute Resolution Mechanisms (TDRMs)

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Club
The Kabarak University Alternative Dispute Resolution Club operates under the auspices of the Centre for Multi Justice Systems (CMJS) and it is student-led. It is a vibrant community of enthusiastic students about the art and practice of alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Our members are united by a strong commitment to enhancing harmonious conflict resolution and equipping people with the vital skills needed in the ADR landscape.
Our activities include but are not limited to conducting in-depth research and producing scholarly articles on various aspects of ADR. We host educational webinars featuring experts in mediation and arbitration to share their insights and experiences. Additionally, we organize and participate in moot court competitions to provide hands-on experience and simulate real-world ADR scenarios.
