Kabarak University Uplifts Kipkelion Girls High School with Faith-Based Outreach

A beacon of hope and guidance shone brightly at Kipkelion Girls High School from June 7th to 9th, 2024, as a dedicated team from Kabarak University embarked on a transformational mission outreach. Led by the inspiring Reverend Laban Kittony, accompanied by Pastor Esther Kapsir and 14 passionate Christian Union students, the program carried the powerful theme "Standing Firm in Your Faith."

Reverend Kittony's opening message on Friday, June 7th, resonated deeply with both students and teachers. Using the example of Joseph, a young man who remained steadfast in his faith despite immense challenges, he exposed the various threats that can test our beliefs. His heartfelt message, delivered with captivating eloquence, sparked a wave of repentance and surrender. Many students, moved to tears, committed their lives to Christ that very night.

The following day witnessed an even greater gathering as neighboring schools joined the weekend program. Reverend Kittony continued to empower the audience with his message titled "Pillars of a Strong Faith," providing a roadmap for building a resilient spiritual foundation. Pastor Kapsir then took center stage, ministering on the theme of "Overcoming Faith Despite Challenges Faced by Young People." Her words resonated with the students, leading to a powerful outpouring of repentance, deliverance, healing, and salvation.

The vibrant program on Saturday offered a diverse range of activities. Pastor Kapsir and Nicholas equipped peer counselors and teachers with essential counseling skills, while Reverend Laban provided individual pastoral care to students and teachers. Kabarak University's Christian Union students led dynamic small group discussions, fostering open and heartfelt conversations. Recognizing the emotional challenges faced by students, the team offered counseling services for those struggling with loss, grief, academics, relationships, and family issues.

The mission culminated on Sunday with inspiring ministry teachings, igniting a fire of faith in many more hearts. Numerous students surrendered their lives to Christ, leaving the program with a renewed sense of purpose and direction. We at Kabarak University offer our deepest gratitude to God for the transformative impact of this outreach. We also extend our sincere thanks to the university management for their unwavering support in making this mission a resounding success.
