Retirement Ceremony for Reverend Professor Jacob Kibor at Kabarak University

On Friday, January 5, 2024, Kabarak University hosted a retirement celebration in honor of the university's longest-serving Provost, Reverend Professor Jacob Kibor. The event brought together distinguished individuals within the university community, including Dr. John Kibosia, who leads the members of the Governing Council, and Vice-Chancellor Professor Henry Kiplangat, who chairs the members of management at Kabarak University. Also in attendance were the deans of various schools, heads of departments, staff, and the university choir.

During the ceremony, Prof. Jacob Kibor received well-deserved accolades for his outstanding humility, unwavering dedication, and tireless efforts throughout his commendable 12-year tenure. The pinnacle of the event was marked by the presentation of numerous gifts, with particular emphasis on two heifers, symbolizing profound gratitude for his impactful leadership.

Expressing his gratitude in a heartfelt speech, Prof. Kibor extended his thanks to Kabarak for its unwavering support, underscoring the institution's dual role as both a workplace and a nurturing home.

This celebration not only paid tribute to a retiring leader but also honored a legacy characterized by academic excellence and a deep commitment to the community.
