Today’s Chapel service at Kabarak University was a powerful celebration of community, purpose, and spiritual growth. The event marked a highlight of the ongoing Ministry Fair Week, an initiative under the Department of Spiritual Affairs designed to showcase the vibrant array of Campus Ministries that form the heart of spiritual life at Kabarak.
Launched on Sunday, June 15, 2025, the Ministry Fair has brought the campus alive with booths, banners, and, more importantly, life-transforming interactions. During this morning’s Chapel session, students and staff had the opportunity to explore the diverse ministries that make up the spiritual ecosystem of the university:
- Choir Ministry
- Praise and Worship Team
- Peer Counseling Ministry
- Ushering and Hospitality Ministry
- Sound and Media Team
- Creative Ministry
- Intercessory Ministry
- Missions Ministry
- Discipleship Ministry
- ICT and Library Ministry
- Sunday School Ministry
- Bible Study and Fellowship Ministries (Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday)
In his heartfelt address, the Vice-Chancellor commended the Spiritual Affairs Department and every student-led ministry for their dedication, visibility, and willingness to serve. He emphasized that the Ministry Fair is not merely a calendar event but a living, breathing testimony of Kabarak’s commitment to holistic student development.
“I have seen more than booths and banners. I have seen life. I have seen joy, curiosity, reflection, and connection… a campus where faith is not hidden but celebrated,” remarked the Vice-Chancellor.
Students were encouraged to visit the booths, ask questions, and find a spiritual community to journey with during their time at the university. Each ministry offers a space where friendships are formed, faith is deepened, and lives are meaningfully transformed.
“We do not just want you to attend university, we want you to grow here—not just in your books, but in your purpose, your relationships, and your faith,” he added.
As the Ministry Fair continues throughout the week, Kabarak University remains steadfast in its mission to raise not just excellent minds, but strong hearts and grounded souls. May this season of spiritual engagement continue to spark divine encounters and life-changing connections across our campus.
