Library Open Week 2026 Concludes with Recognition of Excellence and Academic Innovation

Kabarak University has officially concluded Library Open Week 2026, a week-long initiative dedicated to strengthening research culture, promoting awareness of electronic resources, and empowering both students and staff with essential academic support tools. The closing ceremony brought together members of university management, library staff, and students in a reflective and celebratory gathering.

Book Donation to Kabarak University Library from Prof. Sung Park and Mrs. Eun Park

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplagat, recently received a generous donation of books to the Kabarak University Library from Prof. Sung Park and Mrs. Eun Park, American missionaries serving with Africa Gospel Outreach. The donation includes 4,140 volumes covering 3,627 titles across a wide range of disciplines.

Enhancing Information Management Skills: Meru National Polytechnic Students Visit Kabarak University's Library

In an effort to foster academic collaboration and enhance knowledge sharing, Kabarak University recently welcomed a group of diploma and degree students from Meru National Polytechnic. The 17 students, who are pursuing their studies in the Computing and Informatics Department, embarked on a visit to Kabarak University's impressive library facility. During their visit, they had the opportunity to explore various aspects of information management and gain insights into cataloging, classification, abstracting, indexing, conservation, and dissemination of information, among other essential skills.
