A Day of Community Service Activity at Nakuru City Campus

On October 25th, 2024, the vibrant peer counselors at Nakuru City Campus, led by the esteemed Campus Counselor, Ms. Veronicah Kombich, embarked on a fulfilling environmental activity. Inspired by the words of Elizabeth Andrew, "Volunteers don't necessarily have the time; they just have the heart," our dedicated peer counselors spared time from their busy schedules to contribute to a greener future.

As part of the ongoing Mental Health Awareness Week, this environmental initiative aligned seamlessly with our commitment to holistic well-being. The peer counselors actively participated in weeding and litter collection both within and outside the campus compound. This hands-on experience not only fostered a sense of responsibility and commitment to environmental conservation but also strengthened teamwork and camaraderie among the participants.

The successful completion of this activity has ignited a passion for environmental stewardship within our community. We are immensely grateful to the Vice-Chancellor and the University Management Board for their unwavering support, which empowers us to make a positive impact on our campus and beyond.
