The two-day Kabarak University staff training and team building was off to a great start on a beautiful Tuesday morning. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry K. Kiplangat, gave an inspiring speech that set the tone for the seminar, declaring it open. The first day of the seminar was intensive, with various speakers covering different topics. Dr. Bani Orwa talked about employee performance at the workplace, accountability, and process ownership. Mr. Paul Gichuki handled issues related to employee mental well-being at the workplace, workplace etiquette and relationships, financial wellness, and employee pre-retirement stage. The university staff had a great time learning, relearning, socializing, and enjoying sumptuous meals.

Kabarak University's School of Medicine and Health Sciences is conducting a performance evaluation project on the Liaison QuantiFERON-TB GOLD Plus. This project is aimed at assessing the accuracy and effectiveness of the Liaison QuantiFERON-TB GOLD Plus in diagnosing latent tuberculosis. To carry out this project, the team received training from Mr. David Waweru and Ms. Esther Wambui from Surgipath, who are experts in this field.

Kabarak University is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Dorcas Njeri Githaiga as its new Dean of Students, effective April 1st, 2023. Dr. Githaiga is a highly respected professional counselling psychologist with a wealth of experience and expertise gained from her previous roles as an academic and administrator at various institutions. Her appointment is a significant milestone for Kabarak University, and we are confident that she will bring positive changes to the university community.

The university has opened its gates to everyone interested in purchasing trees to plant, in response to the heavy rains that have been experienced in various parts of the world.
