Commissioning of Trainers

Today the Kabarak University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry Kiplangat was the Chief Guest of honour during the commissioning of the 2021 WRC Safari rally tourism trainers.

The capacity building ToT (training of trainers) workshop was organized by the Nakuru County Tourism Association in conjunction with the WRC safari rally secretariat.
Present during the commissioning was WRC Safari Rally Kenya Chief Executive Officer and Kenya Motor Sports Federation (KMSF) Chairman Mr. Phineas Kimathi among other dignitaries.

Kabarak University was one of the lead trainers in the 5 days capacity building workshop for tourism and hospitality players in Nakuru County ahead of the WRC safari rally which is set to begin on the 24th – 27th June 2021.

The Vice-chancellor noted that the collaboration between the Nakuru County Tourism Association and Kabarak University will be in the areas of capacity building and development to the hotel employees in Nakuru County and collaborative research
