Promoting Health at Kabarak University: Recap of Health Care Week

Kabarak University witnessed a dynamic Health Care Week on March 12th and 13th, as Kabarak Medical Centre, peer counsellors, and Shazmeen Kassam from Warriors of Hope joined hands to enhance student well-being. The program offered crucial health screenings, including HIV and cervical cancer tests, alongside insightful sessions on breast and cervical health, cancer awareness, and reproductive health.

Students actively engaged in discussions, seeking answers to their health queries and learning practical skills like breast examination techniques. As the event concluded, participants were encouraged to continue their journey towards better health using resources like screening services and counselling provided by the medics. Let's break the silence, shatter stigma, and embrace a healthier future together. Remember, it's okay not to be okay – but speaking out is crucial.
