On November 25, 2023, the Kabarak University Student Organisation (KUSO) directors orchestrated a spectacular event that brought the City Campus alive with energy and excitement. The Nakuru City Campus Sports & Fun Day held from 1200hrs to 1700hrs, was a collaborative effort between KUSO leaders and the dedicated staff led by the Senior Assistant Dean of Students City Campus, Dr. Njenga Eunice, and City Campus Counselor, Ms. Kombich Veronicah.

The event showcased a diverse range of sports and fun activities, providing students with a unique opportunity to engage in both competitive and enjoyable pursuits. The KUSO directors leading the charge were Juma Eugene, Japheth Brian Omari, Jeffharrison Okisegere, and Beryl Oyoo, ensuring that every aspect of the day unfolded seamlessly.

The indoor sports arena buzzed with excitement as students competed in chess, scrabble, badminton, table tennis, pool, and darts. The top performers were duly recognized with gold, silver, and bronze medals, along with certificates, adding a competitive edge to the friendly atmosphere.

In addition to the sports competitions, the fun activities added a refreshing touch to the day. Aerobics, the egg race, and the vibrant color splash were met with enthusiastic participation, further fostering a sense of camaraderie among the students.

The highlight of the awarding session was the presence of Dr. Waiganjo Maina, the Nakuru City Campus Director, who not only played a pivotal role in making the event a success but also personally awarded the winners alongside the KUSO leaders. This brought a sense of prestige to the occasion, emphasizing the university's commitment to recognizing and celebrating student achievements.
