Today, the world was honored to listen to the inaugural lecture by Prof. Justice Willy Munyoki Mutunga, the Emeritus Chief Justice of the Republic of Kenya and current Professor of Public Law at Kabarak University.
The event, one of its kind in the country and the very first in the history of Kabarak University, attracted a substantial number of people following the proceedings both in-person and virtually.
In response to the lecture, titled: In search and defence of radical legal education: A personal footnote, was a rebuttal by Prof.Sylvia Kangara and Prof. Issa Shivji, Dar es salaam.
The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry Kiplangat, in his remarks, noted that Dr. Mutunga was appointed Professor of Public Law in October 2021 in accordance with the Kabarak University Staff Terms of Service and Appointments, marking a return of Prof Justice Willy Mutunga to the field of academia.
