School of Pharmacy Meeting with United States Pharmacopeia at the Kabarak Guest House

Kabarak University school of pharmacy and United States Pharmacopeia (USP) earlier on today held a memorable meeting at the Kabarak guest house. In attendance was Dr. Evans Sagwa the Director, Eastern and Southern Africa, Promoting the Quality of Medicines plus (PQM+) program, Dr. Juliet Konje the senior program manager, partnership and growth – Africa, Dr. Suge Titus the dean school of pharmacy and the members of faculty school of pharmacy.

The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) is a pharmacopeia for the United States published annually by the United States Pharmacopeial Convention, a nonprofit organization that owns the trademark and owns the copyright on the pharmacopeia itself and is dedicated to helping improve global health through standards setting in compounding, biologics, pharmaceutical manufacturing and other fields.

In their meeting they had grave discussions on ways of collaboration and partnership with regards health systems strengthening in sub-Saharan Africa as they donated the last USP hardcopy to Kabarak school of Pharmacy.
