Kabarak University is pleased to inform the members of the public and all candidates who qualified for conferment of various degrees and the award of diplomas and certificates in the 2022/2023 academic year that the 19th Graduation Ceremony will take place on December 15, 2023 starting at 8.00 a.m. at the Convocation Hall, Main Campus, Kabarak.

APPLICATION

Graduation candidates are required to apply online through the students’ portal by November 30, 2023.

GRADUATION LIST

The Provisional Graduation List will be available on the University website www.kabarak.ac.ke as from December 2, 2023. The candidates are required to confirm the correct spelling and order of their names in the Provisional Graduation List. Any corrections should be reported in writing to the Registrar (Academic and Research) not later than December 6, 2023. The names will be as in the certificates the students had submitted for admission to the University, as follows:

• Undergraduates programs – KCSE certificates or equivalent
• Masters programs – undergraduate certificates
• PhD programs – master’s certificates

Prospective candidates whose names are not in the Provisional Graduation List are advised to check with the Head of Department or Dean of School for further advice.

FEES

Only those who will have cleared outstanding fees by November 30, 2023 will be included in the Final Graduation List. Those who will clear fee payment after this deadline will be deferred to the next graduation in 2024.

GRADUATION ATTIRE

The candidates should pick graduation attire from respective Schools in Main Campus from 11th – 13th December, 2023 upon production of University and National ID/Passport. The attire should be returned to the Examinations Office on 4th – 12th January, 2024 during office hours, failure to which a penalty of Kshs.1,000 will be charged per day overdue, exclusive of weekends.

INVITATION CARDS

Each candidate will be given two (2) invitation cards and a car sticker during the issue of graduation attire.

REHEARSAL

Rehearsal will be conducted on December 14, 2023 at 9.00 a.m. in the Convocation Hall. All candidates are required to attend the rehearsal dressed in graduation attire.

PUNCTUALITY

Graduands are required to be punctual for the Rehearsal and the Graduation Ceremony. On Graduation Day December 15, 2023, graduands and invited guests should be seated at the Convocation Hall not later than 8.00 a.m.
