In a significant stride toward enhancing academic excellence and national impact, Kabarak University has entered into a strategic partnership with the Foreign Service Academy (FSA) of the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs. This collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishes a comprehensive framework for cooperation in education and training specifically designed to bolster human resource development in diplomacy and international affairs. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry K. Kiplangat and Principal Secretary Dr. A. Korir Sing’oei presided over the signing ceremony, marking a new era of institutional synergy.

The partnership is driven by a shared vision to modernize the training of experts in foreign policy, international law, and communication skills. By institutionalizing the teaching of international relations, both the University and the FSA aim to provide specialized guidance for foreign service officers and professionals within the private sector. This cooperation is strictly academic and professional in nature, ensuring that the development of modern training methods remains focused on quality and the mutual interest of both institutions.
Under this agreement, the University and the FSA will engage in a variety of exchange programs, including the sharing of publications and the organization of joint academic symposia. Furthermore, the exchange of lecturers and students will serve to upgrade professional qualifications on a reciprocal basis. To ensure these objectives are met, a Joint Implementation Committee (JIC) has been established to oversee the progress of the collaborative activities and coordinate efforts between the two parties.

This MoU is set to remain valid for an initial period of five years, with the provision for subsequent extensions to ensure a long-lasting impact on the academic landscape. As part of a productive day for the University, this signing was one of two major agreements presided over by the Vice-Chancellor, further cementing Kabarak University's role as a leading partner in national and international development.
