Kabarak University, in collaboration with the University of Nairobi and the University of California, San Francisco,, celebrated a significant milestone on August 30, 2024, with the graduation of young women who completed the ENabling Girls in AI and Growing Expertise (ENGAGE) in Data Science Program. The ceremony, held in a hybrid format combining online and physical elements, marked a major achievement for both the graduates and the program, which aims to empower girls in the rapidly expanding field of data science.
In his keynote address, Kabarak University's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplangat, praised the graduates for their dedication and perseverance throughout the program. He urged them to embrace the digital age, encouraging them to apply their acquired knowledge and skills to tackle real-world challenges.
