Maranda Boys Get a Taste of University Life at Kabarak

A group of boys from Maranda High School embarked on a pre-university visit to Kabarak University, leaving them motivated to excel in their academic pursuits.

Their journey began at the Daniel Toroitich Library, a majestic building housing a wealth of knowledge. During an interactive session, the students engaged in lively discussions with university representatives, gaining in-depth insights into Kabarak's diverse academic offerings, from cutting-edge science labs to vibrant arts programs.

But the true highlight was the personal welcome from Mr. Forester Kokeyo, Kabarak's President and a proud alumnus of Maranda. His words resonated deeply with the boys, reminding them of their shared Maranda spirit and igniting a spark of ambition within them.

As they toured the impressive campus, their eyes widened in awe. From the state-of-the-art sports complex to the serene botanical gardens, each facility whispered promises of a stimulating and enriching university experience. The boys even got a glimpse of their potential future dorm rooms, fueling their dreams of living and learning in this vibrant community.

But beyond the impressive facilities, the visit fostered a sense of camaraderie and purpose among the boys. Sharing their aspirations and anxieties, they formed new friendships and discovered a shared determination to excel in their upcoming KCSE exams. Leaving Kabarak, they carried with them not just valuable information but also the inspiration and motivation to pursue their academic dreams with unwavering dedication.

This visit was just the beginning of their journey. As they gear up for their final exams, the Maranda boys now have a clear vision for their future, thanks to the invaluable insights and inspiration gained at Kabarak University. Their story serves as a reminder that, with hard work, dedication, and a touch of inspiration, anything is possible.
