The University of Ibadan (UI) and Kabarak University, Kenya, are set to expand their collaborative efforts in higher education following a recent visit by Kabarak University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Henry Kiplangat, to UI. During the visit, Professor Peter O. Olapegba, UI’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), representing UI’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kayode O. Adebowale, reaffirmed the institutions’ commitment to their partnership. This partnership includes a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that covers research, academic staff and student exchanges, joint degree programs, and shared academic resources. Professor Olapegba welcomed Professor Kiplangat’s participation in UI's 2024 Convocation ceremonies and 76th Foundation Day, where Professor Kiplangat delivered a public lecture on "Transformational Leadership in Higher Education: Empowering Africa's Future."
