Kabarak University, under the guidance of the Counseling Section within the Department of Spiritual and Student Affairs, recently hosted a three-day Peer Counselors Training Program from October 11th to October 13th, 2023. This enriching initiative was spearheaded by the esteemed Dean of Students, providing students with invaluable insights into the art and science of counseling. With a diverse range of topics covered and a team of dedicated coordinators, the event was a resounding success.

Kabarak University annually hosts the Chancellor's Cup Tournament to commemorate the late Kenyan Second President and first Chancellor Hon.Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, his visionary leadership, and to celebrate the spirit of togetherness among its students. This event holds special significance for the university community, as it brings together the vibrant and talented student body.

One of the most cherished figures at Kabarak is Prof. Henry Kiplangat, the father of the institution. His presence on campus is like a beacon of pure happiness, a guiding light for students and staff alike. Recently, at the Chancellor's Cup Tournament, Prof. Kiplangat left an indelible mark on history by taking two incredible penalty shots. This remarkable moment not only showcased his unique leadership style but also underlined why Kabarak University is the place to be.

In a beautiful display of solidarity and community spirit, Kabarak University joined hands to celebrate Huduma Day with Emining School for the Visually Impaired. Led by Pr. Esther, the University Counselor, and Rhoda Chemoiwo from the Procurement Department, alongside staff members from various departments, including procurement, counselors/peer counselors, the Kenya Model United Nations Club, and the Africa Leadership Forum, the day was filled with heartwarming activities and shared moments.

The Kabarak University Nakuru City Campus and KABU TVET Institute held their highly anticipated annual staff team-building event at the breathtaking Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge, nestled on the shores of Lake Nakuru. This idyllic setting provided the backdrop for a day of camaraderie, laughter, and reflection on how to survive and thrive in an environment marked by interruptions and violations. The event was graced by the esteemed Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplangat, who delivered an inspiring address.

Kabarak University, School of Law achieved an outstanding performance, securing 2^nd place nationwide in the recent International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition held on 7 and 8 October 2023. Adeline Chelagat, Elsy Jemutai, and Joan Kiptui represented Kabarak Law School in the highly competitive final round of the Competition, which was organised by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Various law schools from across the country participated in the Competition. The team also emerged 4^th position in the memorial writing stage out of 15 law schools in the country
