Kabarak University's SSET Lecturers Shine in Microsoft Skilling Program for Kenya's Educators

The School of Science, Engineering, and Technology (SSET) at Kabarak University has made a significant impact in the Microsoft Skilling Program, a 12-week event designed to enhance technical skills for university lecturers in Kenya. The program, developed in collaboration with the Microsoft Africa Development Centre (ADC) and Microsoft Leap, aimed to improve educators' delivery of technology-focused courses and provide them with an opportunity to engage with fellow educators in skill-enhancement modules.

Kabarak University hosts Focus Kenya as part of its Wednesday chapel service to foster Christian leadership and talent

Earlier today, Kabarak University held its weekly chapel service, which featured a visiting team from Focus Kenya. Mr. Simon Kande, the National Director of Focus Kenya, was ushered onto the stage by the Provost, Rev. Prof. Jacob Kibor, and he introduced his team members before telling the congregation about Focus Kenya.

Rotary International is committed to saving mothers and children, which is one of its six main pillars. Shockingly, an estimated 5.9 million children under the age of five die each year due to malnutrition, inadequate healthcare, and poor sanitation. These deaths are preventable, and the Rotaract Club of Kabarak University, a child of Rotary Nakuru, has taken an initiative to build on this agenda.
