Greetings from the Kabarak University Chaplain's Desk! We're excited to announce an upcoming mission outreach program in Narok County, Kenya, taking place from August 25th to September 1st, 2024.

In a heartwarming display of compassion, Kabarak University recently embarked on a hospital outreach ministry, bringing a message of hope and spiritual solace to patients at Nakuru Level 5 Provincial General Hospital (PGH). Led by the energetic Acting University Chaplain, Rev. Laban Kittony, and the ever-inspiring Pastor Esther Kapsir, who spearheaded the Christian Union efforts, a dedicated team of 120 students fanned out across the hospital wards on June 15th, 2024.

On June 14, 2024, Kabarak University played a key role in shaping the future of education at the UNESCO Strategic Plan 2024-2029 stakeholder validation forum held in Nairobi. This critical forum brought together leading minds from various educational and research institutions to define UNESCO's strategic direction for the next five years.

This week, Kabarak University took another step towards excellence by undergoing a recertification audit for the ISO 9001:2015 standard. This internationally recognized quality management standard ensures organizations consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Kabarak University is proud to be a champion for integrating arts and culture into education systems, nurturing a more sustainable future. Today, June 13th, 2024, Dr. Diana M. Munyao, Kabarak UNESCO Chair Coordinator, and Dr. Jean C. Zigama, Research Coordinator, actively participated in the Annual UNESCO Chairholders' Consultative Meeting held at the Aghakhan University.

Recent data from the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) reveals a significant increase in applications to private universities across Kenya. Notably, Kabarak University has emerged as a top choice, attracting over 1,660 applicants. This is a testament to the university's growing reputation and appeal.
