Department of Physical and Biological Sciences
The Department incorporates Physical Sciences (Chemistry and Physics), Biological sciences (Botany / Zoology) and Environmental Sciences courses. The department has well developed laboratory facilities separate for Biological and Physical Sciences which are fitted with the state of the art equipment. We admit learners based on our capacity in a competitive way to enable high level of training.
Our holistic approach to teaching and research, integrating physical, chemical, biological, social and geotechnical sciences into the study of natural and human environments, is unique and is market oriented. The Department has qualified faculty capable of teaching, training and supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Mission of the Department
To attract qualified students to undertake courses in various fields of Environmental sciences and Biological sciences as well as attract researchers to carry out research projects in areas relevant to the market. It is our aim to equip students and researchers with practical tools that will lead to market and current relevance both locally and internationally.
