On the 4^th of November 2025, the Avid Readers’ Forum met for yet another spirited and intellectually stimulating discussion on Grace Ogot’s short story “Land without thunder.”  The lead reader for the day’s session was Billheart Braxton, a second year law student at Kabarak University. From the outset, it was clear that this was more than a literary conversation, it was a deep dive into the psychology, spirituality, and artistry embedded in African storytelling.

Kabarak University marked a significant milestone today, Friday, 31st October 2025, by officially launching a grand tree-planting initiative aimed at transforming the university grounds into an even greater ecological sanctuary. The drive, themed Tree Planting for Biodiversity Restoration, will see the planting of over 5,000 trees across the campus. This major initiative reflects the institution s strong passion for environmental stewardship and its role in promoting the national greening agenda.

Today marked a pivotal moment for academic advancement at Kabarak University as the Digital Pedagogy Training Programme was successfully held at the KABUODeL Conference Hall. This crucial session, conducted on Friday, October 31, 2025, underscored the institution s strong commitment to enhancing the quality of teaching and learning through digital innovation.

Kabarak University held a spirit-filled chapel service that brought together students and staff for a vibrant time of praise, worship, and reflection. The service was especially significant as it also served as a thanksgiving ceremony for the outgoing Kabarak University Students Organization (KUSO) 2024/2025 leadership team, who gathered to give thanks to God for His guidance and grace throughout their term in office.
