Kabarak University made a significant impact at the University of Eldoret's 6th Annual Innovation Week, held from October 16 to 18, 2024. A team led by Dr. Andrew Kipkebut, alongside students Felix Masigwa and Agnes Mugure from the School of Sciences, Engineering, and Technology(SSET), presented their groundbreaking project, A-Eye. This innovative initiative utilizes computer vision and natural language processing to assist persons with disabilities (PwDs) in enhancing their mobility and navigation, earning top recognition in the technology category.
