Kabarak University made a significant presence at the 20th Kenya Pharmaceutical Association’s Annual Scientific Conference, held from Thursday, July 25th to Saturday, July 27th. Aiming to showcase its diverse programs, the university established an exhibition stand that attracted many visitors. The stand emphasized the institution’s dedication to cultivating competent professionals and pharmacists through its undergraduate, postgraduate, and upgrading programs. The marketing team was available to offer comprehensive information on the various paths accessible to aspiring pharmacists.

Kabarak University has achieved a remarkable feat by winning the 2024 ENACTUS National Championship. Triumphing over stiff competition from Kenyatta University, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University, Maseno University, Moi University (both A and B campuses), University of Nairobi, and Laikipia University, the Kabarak ENACTUS team has secured Kenya's spot at the global ENACTUS competition in Astana, Kazakhstan, this October.

On Saturday, 27th July 2024, Kabarak University AYLF chapter members embarked on a hiking expedition. Led by Christopher Nyakundi, the current chapter coordinator, and accompanied by Ms. Veronicah Kombich, 38 club members set off on this adventure. Despite the chilly morning, the students were brimming with enthusiasm for the day ahead.

Kabarak University convened the Association of Academic Registrars of Universities in Kenya (AARUK) Sensitization Workshop on Thursday 25th July 2024. Under the stewardship of Vice-Chancellor Professor Henry K. Kiplangat, also the AARUK Patron, the two-day event centered on the theme "Navigating the Future: A Platform for Innovative Practices, Challenges and Opportunities in the Rapidly Evolving Landscape of University Administration." The workshop aimed to equip academic registrars with the necessary tools and knowledge to address the dynamic challenges confronting higher education institutions.

Kabarak University recently embarked on a mission to empower students in Homabay County with vital career guidance. A dedicated team from our Counseling Section, courtesy of the Marketing Department, participated in a career exhibition at Mbita High School on July 19th-20th, 2024. The event, organized by Bless a Soul International, drew participation from numerous high schools across Homabay County.
