Kabarak University made a significant impact at the University of Eldoret's 6th Annual Innovation Week, held from October 16 to 18, 2024. A team led by Dr. Andrew Kipkebut, alongside students Felix Masigwa and Agnes Mugure from the School of Sciences, Engineering, and Technology(SSET), presented their groundbreaking project, A-Eye. This innovative initiative utilizes computer vision and natural language processing to assist persons with disabilities (PwDs) in enhancing their mobility and navigation, earning top recognition in the technology category.
The Kabarak University School of Sciences, Engineering, and Technology, under the leadership of Dr. Peter Rugiri, recently hosted a pivotal session with students and faculty members from the Computer Forensics, Computer Science, and IT departments.
